Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies

Instructions
Prep
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream
In a large bowl, cream together the tahini, brown sugar, white sugar, and butter until light and fluffy.

1/2 cup unsalted butter
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

1/2 tsp baking powder,
1/2 tsp baking soda,
1/2 tsp salt
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips.

Bake
Use a cookie scoop or spoon to form dough balls, and place them onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
